General Information:
- Minimum qualifying load is 1 kW.
- Applies only to permanent heating installations (no plug-in heaters)
- Credit must be requested within 180 days of installation.
- An Inspection & Qualification Report signed by the consumer and general manager is required.
- An account number and social security or taxpayer ID number must be included.
- Resistance heat credit applies only to new installations.
- Heat Pump and ETS credits apply to new and replacement installations.
- Credits are available to all end-use customer classes.
- Energy audit must be attached.
Minimum Efficiency Insulation Standards:
- Efficiency (insulation standards set at the sum of ‘R’ values for ceiling plus walls
- Existing Building – R30; New Building – R49
- Efficiency standards are applicable to all heating types: resistive, heat pumps and ETS.
- Required insulation shall be verified by SECPA visual inspection and noted on the Inspection and Qualification Report.
