Annual Meeting / Elections

The annual meeting of Southeast Colorado Power is schedule for March 24, 2011 (Thursday) at Springfield Community Building, Springfield, Colorado. It is the most important day of the year for the cooperative. This is the day set aside for you to meet with your directors and cooperative employees.

  • Registration - 5 p.m.
  • Dinner - 6 p.m.
  • Business meeting - 6:45 p.m.

As a member-owner of Southeast Colorado Power, each person receiving service should take an active part in the business by attending the annual meeting. You can hear reports of past progress and future plans of the co-op from the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and the Board Members. This is your opportunity to have a voice in the business.

Elections

Elections for three year terms beginning April 2011 and ending March 2013 for Director Districts seats 4, 5, and 7 will be held during the Annual Meeting. Incumbent directors are Randy Phillips - District 4, Mark Grasmick - District 5, and Shad Sullivan - District 7.

The nominee must be a member and a bonafide resident of the District in which he or she is being nominated. At least 15 valid signatures of members within that District are required. Petitions for nomination must be delivered to an office of Southeast Colorado Power no later than 45 days prior to the Annual Meeting.
